Code of Conduct
This Code for Conduct identifies the standard of behaviour which is expected of all members of the ASMBA. This policy is applicable to all players, parents, guardians, managers and coaches, officials, volunteers, directors, officers, committee members, convenors, team managers, administrators and employees involved in ASMBA activities and events. The ASMBA is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect. Members and participants of the ASMBA shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with the values of the ASMBA, which include fairness, integrity and mutual respect, and the promotion of fair play, sportsmanship, and player development. Members and participants of the ASMBA shall not engage in any activity or behaviour which interferes with a competition, or with any player or team's preparation for a competition, or which endangers the safety and well being of others. At all times, ASMBA members and participants shall refrain from comments, or behaviours, which are disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist. Specifically, during the course of all ASMBA activities and events, members shall avoid behaviour which brings ASMBA into disrepute, including but not limited to, the following; -Excessive verbal abuse to Players, Managers & Coaches, and Game Officials. -Threatening, or pushing, Players, Managers & Coaches, and Game Officials. -Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the ballpark, before, during, or after a game or practice. -Disruption of a game by causing arguments or altercations with other spectators, players, managers and coaches, or game officials.
