Welcome to Ajax Spartans Elite Baseball. We are your community baseball league for players seeking an elite experience.

This year we have added a new 15U team.

In 2025, with that existing team moving up, it will make room for a new 15U roster, our team lineup will include the following:

  • 14U AAA (new for 2025)
  • 15U Elite (new for 2025)
  • 16 U Elite (existing 2024 15U)
  • 18 U Elite (new for 2025)

This expansion is our commitment to developing top-tier talent and providing comprehensive training and competition opportunities for our athletes.

Long Term Development

Our Elite Baseball features collaborative coaching and strategic focus, ensuring a comprehensive and consistent plan for each player’s Elite career.

With roster sizes of 13-15 players, we emphasize a sustainable program that builds a strong foundational core, supporting consistent development across all age levels.

Year-Round Programming

FALL [Sept-Oct]

  • Exhibition games and practices
  • Possibility of tournaments

WINTER [Nov-Jan]

  • We advocate playing other sports, focusing on school, part-time jobs, etc.
  • We will support and coordinate individual training programs during the winter if desired

SPRING [Feb-May]

  • 2-3 indoor practices per week at local facilities

SUMMER [May-Aug]

  • Games and practices throughout the week, with weekend commitments typically limited to tournaments
  • Majority of league games are in the GTA
  • 4-5 tournaments includes AAA Tournament in Ontario and US Tournaments

Financial Transparency

  • Player fees of $2500-3000 cover all baseball activities (excl tournament travel costs)
  • Coaches stipends to reimburse any non-parent costs and/or moderate compensation where appropriate
  • Individual team budgets are itemized, shared and balanced at the beginning and end of every season

Training Facilities

  • In-season games and practices are held at Ajax Sportsplex, one of Ontario’s premier baseball diamonds
  • Unique approach to off-season training spaces where we partner with a variety of local facilities
    • This ensures access to batting/pitching tunnels, a full-size dome and conditioning spaces without the expense of owning and operating a full-time facility
    • This also allows us more variety in the types of training we provide as we are not limited by a single facility’s resources

Advancing Player Careers

  • Strong advocacy for roster spots on Ontario Summer Games (15U) and Ontario Youth (17U) teams
  • Graduating players will be supported in connecting with and getting exposure to Canadian college and university coaches
  • Ajax Baseball has a strong 22U program for players who wish to continue playing beyond high school
